...wore yesterday...high-low cocktail...

Most of my wardrobe seems to be a high-low cocktail (phrase nicked from Instyle mag).  My budget doesn't allow for a closet filled exclusively with designer gear, and I for one can't see how my busy-mum-of-two-under-6 would allow for all that expensive cashmere/silk/lace etc.  Maybe I'm missing a trick (or several thousands spare pounds), but for now it is what it is.  Once Mini-Guy is at school perhaps I'll be in full sachay-mode, decked head to toe in the likes of Celine....dream on!

I don't know about you, but I'm delighted the half-hearted snow has been washed away.  Just enough to bring all the 'winter-wimps' out of hiding, so that all your plans get cancelled or else you're dangling on a string unsure whether plans will go ahead or not.  Plus, the fashion opportunities are severely limited.  Just plain annoying all round.

Yesterday's outfit put all this behind me, and I gave a nod to potential summer plans for daytrips around & about (definitely including Brighton):

Scarf by Gucci
Foil-print jumper by Primark
Vest by Primark
Trousers by H&M
Shoes by Finsk
Bag by Anya Hindmarch

    1. Hi Mandi, thanks for your comment. Glad you like the ensemble :-) I was making an attempt at adding in some Pantone Emerald for 2013! Now the weather's warmed up a little I can lose the boots and bring out the slightly more feminine shoes hurrah.

      Hope all's well, Erika xx

ps. your Band of Outsiders trousers are AMAZING xx
