Loving Sister In Australia always reminds me that in order to happen upon great finds in the charity shops you have to donate regularly. It's the principle of Karma I suppose.
Now in Australia, they call charity shops 'op shops'. As in 'opportunity shops'. I love this. Because there are so very many opportunities to be found in charity shops. Whether it be vintage glassware or crockery, or kids books or bicycles, the list goes on.
So the 'op shop goddess' will bestow greatness upon you, providing you offer up donations to her on a regular basis! 4 bags of wardrobe clearout was my offering yesterday, and lo and behold, I was blessed by the 'op shop goddess' with this Dusk by Frank Usher beauty (size 12 it said on the label, but it's a perfect fit) - a quick handwash and airing-cupboard overnight, and voila:

Hi Ruby, thanks for your (super-flattering) comments :-) For a long time I felt I was a female reincarnation of Brian May (Queen guitarist) lol but I've since found my fairy-godmother hairdresser who is a genius with curls. Priceless!
DeleteHope to 'see' you again soon, and I'm looking forward to catching up with some more of your lingerie/bikini projects.
Happy New Year too. No doubt you saw it in with style down there on the French Riviera? (uber-jealous by the way!)
